Well its time to pot up the new Muscadine grapevines that were live rooted on our vine. Usually the upper joints on the stem near the surface of the soil make roots. It is rare for the lower joints to send out roots. That is why you need to use a container that will have 7 or 8 inches of soil cover the cane in the bottle. The 5 I did last look great and will make healthy grapevines. The 6th one I did earlier had almost no roots and may not make it.
